what front tire is best match

hello dark siders

it's time for me t replace my front tire I now have over 9000 miles on the dark side I have 16000 miles on front tire needing to know what front tire do all use that matches their dark side?
I am running a good year GT on the rear.

I'm on my second Bridgestone 709  

I'd like to know if any Wingers have tried the Shinko 777 myself. Sure works well on the modded Harley; short life, but a sticky one, and cheap.

Don't think the Shinko comes in an 18" size to fit a Wing.

I just replaced mine about 3k miles ago.  I went with the Bridgestone Excedra Max, very similar to the OEM front tire but only $101 @ Chapperal Motorsports.

I'm not in any way associated with Chapperal other than being a satisified customer

Bridgestone G709 absolutely the best tire for the front of these machines. No matter the conditions I know it is going to stick. Great life out of it. I am a "spirited" rider and this tire sticks like glue. I will not run anything else now. Not to mention it has 20k+ on it and just coming to the end of it's life. Best front tire I have had on any of my bikes.

Look at the Michelin Pilot Activ , rear tire for the front.. Most trike like it too.. About 111.00 at Motorcycle Super Store online, and get you 2oz. of Counter Balance Beads too... You'll be glad you did

I'm on my second Bridgestone Battleax on the front of my Goldwing. I switched the last one out last August with 34,349 miles on it. I also run the Bridgestone Potenza on the back. 36,326 on that one. I'm satisfied.

Another vote for the G709 here. However, I have not tried double dark side yet.

I just went dark this spring and then went double dark with the BT 45 on the front the first week of July.Love this set-up so far.
