Stock size vs 195 65 16 Empty Stock size vs 195 65 16

I found a tire, Vanco, that is closest to the stock tire is height and width. Yet a number of people running them had rubbing for awhile. Yet the 205 65 16 size I have not seen the same problem even though width and height are more different. Any thoughts on this or why?
