Several reasons for the better handling
1) more contact patch on the road at all times
2) car tire rubber is softer than motorcycle tire rubber. Twin1300 has a durometer he uses for his sons gokart racing tires. He showed me comparing several tires of each flavor and the car tires are softer compound.
3) with all that feel good under your butt your confidence is way up and that always helps.

I run mine at 32-34 running a michellin hydroedge 205-70-15
